Chapter 8
Louise and Hamish have supper. Hamish tells Louise that the engagement ring she’s carting around is his aunt’s and bears the family crest. Louise refuses to tell him why she’s in possession of the ring. Hamish then tells her about his aunt’s estate, and about how after his uncle was drowned (possible murder?) a cousin(?) took over the care of the estate. However, that person had a lover that they were pretending to have just met.
Oh no! During supper, Louise realized that she was attracted to Hamish, despite her displeasure with his general behavior and amazing skills. What will happen next?
