This is Nelson Mandela.He was born in South Africa in 1919.He was a lawyer.He was the first black President of South Africa.Before his presidency, Mandela was an anti-apartheid activist . In 1962 he was arrested and convicted of sabotage and other charges, and sentenced to life in prison. Mandela served 27 years in prison.
