This is Carnivall.O Antroido is the name given to Carnival in Galicia. Masks and fancy dress fill the city streets. There are parades with floats and carnival groups.On Ash Wednesday, there is a satirical procession that ends up with the burning of " Meco" , a doll that represents the Carnival. The celebration can also be felt through the gastronomy, with dishes such as Galician stew, filloas (like pancakes), shoulder of pork , chorizos and potatoes.
