'Serge Gainsbourg: Vie heroique', naturally, has a fabulous soundtrack.
More surprisingly however, is the sly presence of puppets/animations and spooky cartoon like alter egos created by the team behind 'Pan's Labyrinth'!
The film is at its best in the first scenes, where petit Serge's imagination runs wild in world filled of illustrated nude models, jazz and dancing jews.
Letitia Casta's Bridget Bardot is impeccable. Eric Elmosnino is also very, very good.
I would definitely recommend.
