Leopard print. Everything has changed. My age old dissaproval of the pattern has melted away and this spring my thoughts are filled with its beastly beauty.
I blame John Galliano's 2010 collection for DIOR. The leopard print berret is genius, injecting the perfect dose of eccentric old italian lady into any outfit. The central dress is also beautiful and has a classic shape to compliment the madness. Finally the feathered hat; I love it. Its beutiful, surreal and I hope at some point in the near future I have the opportunity to accessorise en plan 'Yes, a bird of paradise just died on my head, and yes, I'm fabulous!'.
One should also applaud John Galliano's tireless promotion of statement eyebrows. Nice one John.
Its common knowledge that I love the queen. For people who aren't so keen on her I urge you to look past her unpromising family and focus on her impeccable sense of style. Black ankle boots, velvety hat and a huge leopard print coat. Long live the Queen!!
On a separate note altogether (although still consisting of the vaguely trashy and beautiful) I just remembered how much I admire this song, video and artist. The scene in the laundrette is the best. She is quite simply AMAZING.
